2014 Workshop Schedule
 
We will be showcasing some exciting themes and all new recipes for the 2014 workshops. Sunday Afternoon Workshops begin at 2:00 p.m. and will end with dinner at about 7:00 p.m. Students work in teams of two (single registrations will be paired up with other singles).  The workshops are for both men and women.  Children age 12 - 14 should attend with a parent. Please note that the office will be closed from January 1 - February 10, 2014

Quebecois Sugar Shack
Enough Snow already! But the is a brighter side of Winter by the wonderful recipes of the Quebecois. We'll prepare Tourtiere, Maple-Soy Glazed Salmon, Maple Popcorn Crunch, Maple Layer Cake, Maple Spice Poached Pears and some other "surprise" recipes to tantalize your taste buds.

Cooking from Provence

Romantic Tuscany
Everyone loves Italian Food and the Tuscany region has a history of fine cuisine that I would like to share with you again with all new dishes. We will explore the countryside with delicious pasta dishes, fresh salads, breads, and desserts wake up your palate!

Amore Trattoria
This workshop is designed to show you how to make some wonderful Italian favourites made with passion and love as only the Italians can do ... you may even break out into song! Simple and delicious recipes cooked to perfection and served family-style. Also on the menu are some typical Italian desserts to bring a grand finale to your amore meal.

Summertime Grilling
With all new recipes this year you will be ready for the hot summer weekends ahead! Move the cooking outdoors to your new barbecue? Take advantage of the wonderful fresh produce of the Okanagan, we'll enjoy the appetizers as they are made, and savour barbecued meats, sausages and vegetables as we look over the lake. We'll also have some wonderful fruit desserts to end the afternoon.

Thai Cuisine
Back by popular demand! This workshop always sells out quickly and continues to be one that my students have been asking for. The Thai kitchen is very flavourful and healthy. The dishes range from mild to spicy, full of vegetables, lemongrass, meats and seafood. I think you will be taking these easy recipes to your kitchen to serve to family and friends.

Visions of Sugarplums
Is it your turn to "do" Christmas this year? The thoughts of what is ahead of you can be daunting especially if you are unsure how to pull it altogether. We'll prepare a full Christmas Dinner with appetizers, soup, salad and we'll make some hors d'Oeuvres too as well as some luscious Christmas cookies as we wait for our meal. Now what could be better than that?
